THE MAIN REASONS FOR THE OCCURRENCE OF CONTAMINANTS IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF BLANKETS

There are many types of blankets. Due to the different process conditions and production methods of various manufacturers, the products will be different. However, when a paper machine selects a more suitable variety, why do the same method and the same process sometimes appear to be ineffective?

The effect of washing effect on the length of the life cycle of the blanket Washing is an important part of the on-machine maintenance of the blanket. Different washing conditions and different washing methods will lead to different use effects. The first is the washing water pressure. The purpose of washing is to remove the pollutants on the stained blanket with the help of the impulse of water and to maintain a certain degree of cleanliness of the blanket to ensure its normal service life. Too low washing water pressure cannot penetrate the blanket at all, so it can only wash off part of the pollutants on the surface of the blanket and has little effect on the pollutants that have entered the blanket. After the pollutants are accumulated inside the felt, as the felt is gradually compacted during use, it becomes more difficult to remove the pollutants, which will further aggravate the accumulation of pollutants. In this way, a vicious circle is formed, and the embossing phenomenon of blankets occurs in advance. However, too high water pressure will damage the fibers of the blanket surface due to the washing effect, making it fluffy and stained. So proper water pressure is very important.
